My name is Chiara, I am 29 years old and I have a huge passion for languages and travel.

I love the Land of the Rising Sun and in fact I choosed a study field that allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the Japanese language and literature.

In this photo from a few years ago, you can see me wearing my yukata (the summer version of the kimono) during my graduation day.

Since I have always wanted to turn my passion into a job, once back in Italy from my internship at Italian Institute of Culture in Tokyo, I applied for a job at a Japanese multinational as a translator. This allowed me to acquire a sophisticated technical vocabulary in my two languages of specialization, which are Japanese and English.

From January 2022 I became an ordinary member of  AITI (Italian Association of Translators and Interpreters) and I specialize in the technical-scientific sector, for Japanese to Italian and English to Italian combinations.
